LONDON KY—On Wednesday, Dec. 16th London Police received a call concerning an attempted burglary on Village Street. Shortly thereafter, London Police arrested Delora Combs, 34, of Mitchell Creek Road who had drugs on her possession as well as an active arrest warrant.
Lt. Matt Moore and Ofc. Jordan Hopkins located a woman matching the description provided by the caller on Bill Subdivision Road walking across the lawns of area residents. The London/Laurel County Communications Center notified London Police that Combs had an active arrest warrant. While police followed Combs’ path a black jacket was located containing a plastic baggie with 0.5 grams of methamphetamine and 4.1 grams of marijuana inside.
Combs admitted to owning the jacket and drugs. She also stated that she had drugs in her shirt which she handed over to officers.
She was arrested and charged with first degree possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), public intoxication of a controlled substance, and possession of marijuana. She was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
