LONDON KY—On Thursday, August 20th the London Police Department will hold a neighborhood watch at the Plantation Apartments’ Office on south Main Street at 4 p.m. London Police lead four neighborhood watches a month for residents of area apartment complexes.
London Police Sgt. Travis Hurley says that neighborhood watches are a useful tool for not only the Police Department, but also area residents. Residents are encouraged to come together and have a positive interaction with officers, as well as voice their safety concerns. In addition, if residents wish to share confidential information with officers one-on-one there is an opportunity to do so following the event.
If an apartment complex is interested in hosting a neighborhood watch with the London Police Department, contact Sgt. Travis Hurley at (606) 878-7004.
