LONDON KY—On Sunday, June 12th at 2:58 a.m. London Police Sgt. Eric Wilkerson conducted a traffic stop that led to a drug arrest.
Following the traffic stop on the Hal Rogers Parkway, Sgt. Wilkerson received consent to search the vehicle. A passenger in the vehicle, Justin L. Bishop, 23, of Berea had three baggies of marijuana, containing 3.7 grams in all. Also located was a glasses case containing empty baggies that were identical to the ones containing marijuana. Bishop was also in possession of two syringes and one glass smoking pipe.
Bishop was arrested and charged with giving an officer a false name or address, trafficking in marijuana, and buying or possessing drug paraphernalia. He was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
