LONDON KY—On Thursday, Sept. 15th at 8:15 a.m. London Police were dispatched to a complaint from Bill Subdivision Road where two subjects were trespassing and refusing to leave. Through investigation, Barry M. Gossett, 28, of Jeffersonville, Ky. was arrested for possession for methamphetamine.
Sgt. Danny Robinson noticed two individuals on foot walking into the woods at London Market Place. He then arrive on scene beside Penn Station and exited his vehicle.
“I heard yelling and screaming coming from the residence,” Sgt. Robinson said.
As he approached the trail leading to the residence, he spotted Gossett and a female walking towards KY-192. Sgt. Travis Hurley arrived on scene and asked the Gossett to come to him. While walking towards Sgt. Hurley, he dropped something in his hand on the ground. Sgt. Robinson then picked it up and discovered a plastic bag with methamphetamine inside.
Gossett was arrested and charged with first-degree possession of methamphetamine and was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
