LONDON KY—On Thursday, February 22nd London Police were dispatched to a complaint regarding two subjects arguing in the parking lot of Community Trust Bank. Through investigation, Jeremy Roberts, 22, of London was arrested.
Upon the arrival of Ofc. Elbert Riley and Ofc. Steven Sparks contact was made with Roberts. It was discovered that Roberts had two warrants for his arrest and when officers attempted to apprehend him, he began to run.
Officers engaged in a foot pursuit across heavy traffic on KY-192 and onto Alf Lane. Following a brief struggle, Roberts was stopped on Alf Lane and arrested.
Roberts was charged with second-degree fleeing or evading police, second-degree wanton endangerment of a police officer, and resisting arrest. He was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
